To meet the great interest in the fellows and interns program, we have decided to move the interest meeting to Silver Spring Public Library. The specific room has not been decided, but there will be signage (or a volunteer) at the library entrance to direct people. Note the meeting is still this Saturday, August 27 at 1pm.

This Saturday will be our soft launch of our canvassing efforts. We will be sending volunteers to VA (most likely, Alexandria) to knock on doors and distribute materials, in coordination with VA organizers. Because the event is rapidly approaching, we are asking everyone to meet at plaza in front of the Silver Spring Civic Center. Note that there is a parking garage next to the Civic Center where people can park for free. There will be one shift meeting at 9am, and another shift meeting at 12pm. Virginia organizers need more help in the afternoon than the morning, but anything helps!

The New Hillary for America Maryland Office has opened! They are sharing space with the Maryland Coordinated Campaign at 8625 16th St in Silver Spring  and are hosting phone banks as follows:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 AM – 2 PM and 6 – 9 PM
